From the Archive II
The publisher Victor Gollancz was renowned for throwing fantastic parties as well as publishing exceptional novels, and we have always tried to uphold both glorious traditions. This photographic evidence of our success comes from a 1988 party held at Two Brydges Place, to celebrate the publication of Terry Pratchett’s Wyrd Sisters and Robert Holdstock’s Lavondyss.
Scroll down to see David Hartwell, Ellen Kushner, Joe Haldeman, Norman Spinrad, Jo Fletcher, Brian Aldiss, Lucius Shepard, Terry Pratchett, Ellen Datlow and Terri Windling raising a glass to both authors at the event.
. . . if you’d like to be at the next Great Gollancz Event to meet some of our incredible authors and editors then don’t miss out on the brilliant Gollancz Festival!
